Giltrap Group had recently opened a new Volvo Service Workshop in Wairau Valley, Auckland. The initial design of the new Volvo Service Workshop had used tiled flooring, which their team found to be highly slippery and noticed that these tiles would track too much grime. Tasked with solving these problems and mitigating the health and safety risks posed by the slippery tiled flooring, Giltrap Group - Volvo sought our team’s expertise in commercial and industrial flooring. Our solution involved meticulously diamond grinding the pre-existing tiles, repairing the underlying concrete flooring, and applying a three-coat epoxy coating system, ensuring anti-slip and health and safety requirements were met. This approach not only enhanced aesthetics for the new workshop but also fortified its durability and cleanliness, creating a functional and visually striking space.
